Mako AI

The ultimate assistant coach

It plans your season, writes sessions the way your club writes them, takes the register, logs times off a photo of the whiteboard, answers questions about your swimmers and drafts the parent email. That list used to be your evening.

Hi Coach. What are we working on?

Six jobs it takes off your plate

01

It builds the season with you

Give it your dates, your meets and your targets. It lays out the whole season, week by week, and puts your championship meet on the calendar. The numbers stay yours: if you haven’t set a progression, it asks rather than inventing one. Change your mind later and one sentence re-cuts the plan, or undoes it.

02

A second pair of hands in the editor

Open a session and talk. Tighten the warm-up, swap the main set. Ask for a version for one swimmer and it stands in for the group’s, so her volume stays honest. The edits land while the session is open in front of you.

03

It writes the way your club writes

It learns your send-offs and shorthand from the seasons you’ve already written. Sessions come back reading like you wrote them. And it speaks every language MakoSwim ships, so a Danish club coaches in Danish.

04

Answers instead of reports

Ask in plain words about pacing against the world’s best, stroke rates, attendance or training load, and you get the answer with the working shown. MakoData puts 300,000+ real races behind every comparison.

05

Goal setting, start to finish

It builds the goal sheet, sends it out and rounds up the answers. If a swimmer misses the window, it reopens the sheet just for them. Mid-season reviews start from each swimmer’s own answers, and your feedback reaches the whole squad once you’ve read it through.

06

The rest of the admin pile

The register from one sentence. Times straight off the whiteboard photo. It writes the parent email about Saturday’s bus, invites new families, fills seed times into meet entries and turns out a branded PDF when the committee wants a report.

Questions coaches ask

Will it invent training numbers?

No. Progressions, percentages and targets are yours. If you haven’t given it a number, it asks, or keeps things flat and tells you it did.

Can it see other clubs’ data?

It can’t. It works with your club’s data and the MakoData community rankings, and it only ever sees what you can see when you log in.

Will it change things without me knowing?

No. Anything that touches your team, your calendar or an inbox shows up for you first, and nothing reaches an athlete or a parent unless you say so. Season changes can be undone.

Does it work in my language?

Yes. It answers in every language MakoSwim ships, and it drafts sessions in your club’s own shorthand.

What kind of things can I ask it?

Plan a season. Rework tonight’s session. Compare a swimmer’s pacing to world finalists. Log the times off a whiteboard photo. Open goal sheets for the squad. Email the parents about the weekend. If it’s coaching admin, start by asking.
