MakoSets
Write the session.
The numbers keep themselves.
MakoSets is the swimming workout editor inside MakoSwim. Type a set the way you would write it on a whiteboard. Volume, energy zones, stroke and equipment totals appear as you go, split by training group.

Built around sets, not spreadsheets
01
It reads what you type
Distance, stroke, energy zone and interval come out of the text itself, in your club’s own terms. You write the set the way you would write it on the whiteboard. There is no second pass to tag it.
02
Volume counts itself, per group
Totals and duration recalculate as you type, split by training group. You see the shape of the session before you leave the page, not the morning after.
03
One session, different swimmers
Assign work to a training group, to named individuals, or to dryland. Flex rostering, guest athletes and split workouts are all handled in the same editor rather than in a separate plan.
04
A library you build once
Save any set to your organisation’s library, kept private to you or shared with every coach. Each one is parsed on save, so its volume, zones, stroke breakdown and style are known before you drop it into a session.
05
The calendar is the home
AM and PM on every training day, up to three sessions, with each group’s volume on the day and markers for meets, training camps, travel and rest.
06
Register taken where you already are
Attendance lives inside the workout. Mark it once and it feeds volume and analytics, instead of being re-keyed into something else later.
07
Two coaches, one session
On supported plans the editor collaborates live. Another coach’s edits, or your own from a second device, appear without a refresh.
08
It prints
Send the session to paper or to a file for the noticeboard, the pool office or a coach who wants it in hand.
A month of training, on one screen
Every training day carries its AM and PM sessions, each group’s volume for the day, and the meets, camps, travel days and rest days around them.

Questions
- Do I have to write sets in a special format?
- No. You write them the way you already write them. MakoSets reads the text and uses your own terminology, which you configure once, so it understands the shorthand your club already uses.
- Can different swimmers in the same session do different work?
- Yes. A set can be assigned to a training group, to specific individuals, or to dryland, and the flex roster lets you move a swimmer onto different work without rewriting the session.
- Does attendance have to be entered twice?
- No. Attendance is taken inside the workout editor, and those numbers feed the volume and analytics in Mako360 directly.
- Can two coaches edit the same session at once?
- On supported plans, yes. Edits from another coach or another device appear live, without refreshing.
